The location on Apple Maps was easy to find and check-in was simple. Cottage was spacious with great facilities including a filter coffee machine. Quality tables and furnishings with modern decor in the bathrooms and bedroom. Stunning area on the fjord with nearby shops in Borgarnes. Perfect for hiking Mt. Esja. A wonderful place to stay.

The location was perfect for a family getaway, with stunning views of the surrounding countryside and easy access to nearby amenities. The cottages were spacious and well-maintained, providing all the comforts we needed. Our children loved exploring the area and playing in the beautiful surroundings. It was a wonderful place to create lasting family memories.
For dads, it would be great to have a small playground area for the children.

We stayed at Kria Cottages and had a wonderful experience. the location was stunning, with beautiful views across Borgarfjörður. the cottage itself was the largest of three, and although close to the other cabins, it was quiet and peaceful. the facilities were good, and my son had no issues with the wifi. Borgarnes, with its shops, restaurants, and petrol stations, was just a short ten-minute drive away. the owner of the cottage was extremely helpful and responded quickly to our inquiries. We will definitely book this cottage again when we return to Iceland.

Title: A Pleasant Stay with a Few Tiny Hiccups
Who needs big bedrooms anyways? Just loved the surprise bug visitors and the unstable Wi-Fi.

Nothing I didn't like to be fair.

The views were on point, especially from the dining room. We hit up Hraunfossar and had a blast. The cottages were cozy AF and perfect for our squad. The hosts were chill and made us feel welcome. Can't wait to go back!
The only thing missing was a sick sound system for some lit party vibes. We had to bring our own speakers, but it would've been next level if there was a setup already.
